Responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance and monitoring work of ICCP and SACP systems for cross-country pipelines.
Collect and review cathodic protection field data and test results, and write reports which includes, gathering pipe-to-soil potential, soil resistivity, anode resistance, coupon and rectifier readings and troubleshooting rectifer units and performing AC interference testing. Supervise the installation activities of Anode bed, AJB, CJB, TR Unit, Test Station, Test Station CP Coupons, Permanent Reference Electrode, Surge Diverter and cables as per clients specification.
Support commissioning and handover activities by verifying the functionality and effectiveness of cathodic protection systems.
Be familiar with standard construction practices for corrosion control projects and systems. Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and that calibration is performed regularly.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members and monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Monitor subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of the work performed and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
Promote adherence to HSE policies and ensure safe working practices during all cathodic protection activities.
