Clinical Skills: -

5 years of Residency was divided into academic and clinical training. 1)Every morning from 8am to 9am from Monday to Saturday academic class discussing about history taking, physical examination, short cases, long cases, journal club, ECG learning

2) From 9am to 2pm managing patients in ER, CCU, WARD etc. 3) Every 5thday of week 32hrs on call duty in CCU, WARD, ER etc. 4) Evening rounds from 5pm to 8pm in wards and CCU. Five Years of training included rotations in CCU, Cardiology Wards, Echocardiography, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, CT- Angiography, Nuclear Cardiology, ETT Lab, Cardiac OPD, Cardiac Surgery, Medical ICU and General medical wards.

CCU (Worked for about 05 months (8:00am to 2:00pm) and also dealt CCU when on call for 36 hour every 5th day)

Learned managing patients with

1) Acute coronary syndromes (STEMI, NSTEMI, USAP)

2) Acute and chronic heart failure due to any etiology (systolic and diastolic) 3) Cardiogenic shock (myocarditis, post MI, post PCI, Post CABG and other etiologies) 4) Rheumatic Heart Disease, valvular heart diseases including prosthetic valves dysfunctions, infective endocarditis,

5) Tachy and bradyarrthymias, Cardiac arrest.

6) Pulmonary embolism,

7) Acute limb ischemia,

8) Cardiac trauma,

9- Pericardial diseases including acute pericarditis, massive pericardial effusions and Cardiac tamponade

10) Congenital heart diseases,

11) Aortic dissection,

12) Post Cath Patients including primary PCI, stent thrombosis, ISR, other complications like pseudo aneurysms, AV fistulas, retro peritoneal bleed, CARDIOLOGY WARDS.

1) Chronic stable angina and other stable ischemic syndromes. 2)Cardiac manifestation of systemic diseases

3) Cardiomyopathies.

4) Work up for hypertension in unusual conditions. 5) Syncope. 6) Pregnant patients with complications (PIH, Valvular heart diseases, Peripartum cardiomyopathy)

7) Patients shifted from CCU after being stabilized. ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY DEPARTMENT

(06months from 08:00am - 02:00pm and also performed several bedside echoes in CCU, CWD, emergency room, General wards ICUs)
