-Design, approve and implement pharmacotherapy based clinical research studies
-Developed Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) Population Health Program with the goal of reducing 30-day hospital readmission rate
oDeveloped CHF Population Health Program by researching and applying 2022 AHA/ACC/HFSA Guideline for the Management of Congestive Heart Failure

oIn 2023, reviewed over 142 dofetilide medication orders for accuracy and completeness and provided verbal and written drug information to patients. Intervened on 58 orders to make therapeutic recommendations based on patient specific renal function, Qtc interval or laboratory abnormalities to prevent adverse drug events and errors
-Created novel sotalol order set for continuation and initiation of sotalol at VHC Health
oResearched proper sotalol initiation doses, frequencies, monitoring parameters, and length of stay
oCreated order set build for Epic using novel outline
oPhysician team leaders approved order set build, and furthermore requested that all order set requests be formatted using my novel outline
-Performed research that led to permanent approval of switching alteplase 2mg/ 2 ml for line occlusions to alteplase 1 mg/ml leading to a 50% cost savings
oTemporary switch to alteplase 1 mg/ml approved due to alteplase shortage
oCollected data for 6 months (3 months prior to switch and 3 months after switch) regarding line re-occlusion incidence, re-dose requests, and restoration of line patency
oPresented data to Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee, receiving approval for a permanent change and cost savings
-Created Venous Thromboembolism Prophylaxis report highlighting patients with no VTE prophylaxis orders
oWorked in a multidisciplinary team including physicians, IT, and pharmacy managers to create report in Epic
oAnalyzed report daily and reached out to providers to either add VTE prophylaxis or document reason for not providing prophylaxis
