Oveersing, validating, operating, and developing quality control standards for the Automated Pavement Condition Survey (APCS) data. Mainitaining the data and routines that aid the Division of Maintenace and the districts in using APCS data for reporting purposes.
• Develop, perform, and review quality assurance checks for APCS data. Assist in management of data deliveries, data transfer, data sharing with internal abd external partners.
• Evaluates APCS data quality and updates statewide pavement condition Interactive Map.
• Provides support in APCS processing, data mining, and report management.
• Develops desk manuals and training content for processes and procedures related to APCS data reviews.
• Develops ArcMap projects/layouts as well as visual graphic outputs to display relevant geographic data for pavement condition, proposed and as-built projects.
• Assists in performing analysis on complex problems and issues that affect the Department relating to pavement management, engineering, construction, and maintenance. Provides technical; engineering analysis and recommendations on pavement related issues.
California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) - Sacramento, CA Sep 2020 – April 2022 Research Analyst
Developed and maintained data structures, as needed, using conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Utilize ArcGIS to map out new trends of infrastructure expenditures and performances across the state. Evaluated COST report by monitoring consultant contract data management, including interdepartmental and external agreements, student assistants, and information technology, telecommunications contracts in support of the Caltrans COS program.
• Tracked attributes, using ArcGIS, such as the levels of funding for contracts, contract types, contract status, and work type for COS program managers, and external entities in collaboration with statewide teams.
• Established district position authority across the state by analyzing annual position realignment data through reconciling monthly position reports for COS program, including delivery of substantiation to human resource division.
• Mentored statewide staff, including consultant service unit coordinators and resource managers by guiding a single focal point on utilization of COST reports data and overseeing contract processes within each district across the state. P a g e 2 2
• Presented robust recommendations and findings to top management related to the COS program contract budget by compiling and analyzing data to interpret new trends of infrastructure expenditures. University of Georgia - Athens, GA Aug 2017 – Sep 2020 Research Assistant Bridge Data Analysis and Performance Modeling Assessed and analyzed bridge performance forecasting models developed by the University of Georgia and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Developed effective evaluation reports for two projects funded by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).
• Successfully developed Bridge Co-Active prioritization model for performing multivariate analysis of larger bridge inspection data.
• Utilized ArcGIS software to map out locations of over 30,000 bridges in the inventory of the states of Georgia, Florida and Alabama. Tracked the health index of each bridge, with reference to key attributes such as age, inventory route, average daily truck traffic, design load, deck geometry, last inspection date, etc., using the bridge inspection data obtained from FHWA.
• Applied ANSYS Fluent and CFD software to evaluate the effect of fluid-structure interactions on performance bridges in proximity to oil wells.
• Developed stochastic models by evaluating 25-year bridge inspection data provided by GDOT.
• Oversaw long-term bridge performance process by utilizing geospatial databases in ArcGIS system software.
• Upgraded the end-to-end analysis process of developed bridge performance using cross-linear function. University of Georgia - Athens, GA Aug 2017 – May 2018 Teaching Assistant
Assisted and guided students in groups and on an individual basis by providing educational material and contributed with the teaching by preparing and implementing daily lesson plans.
• Coached one master’s graduate student by providing academic support to the student. Education & Credentials
