I have been in a leadership role with operations/engineering/construction / capacity planning management at CenturyLink (formerly twtelecom/Level 3 Communications) for over 25 years. Most recently Chief Operations Officer with Mainstream Fiber Network (IN)

Very proficient in use of internal systems tracking financials, people and implementation workflow initiatives (Oracle/SAP/Salesforce/Workday).

Grew NC (Centurylink) monthly revenue run rate (MRR) two-fold from $35M to $70M, 64.5% EBITDA in 15 years.

Developed and executed strategy and vision in support of all customers, network and technical operations, focused on construction, engineering, service delivery, and customer care. (MSFN)

Grew subscriber base 80% YoY equaling double digit revenue growth (MSFN).

NC customer churn rate .08% - 2nd lowest in company. Attributed to laser focus on owning the customer experience across all facets of the business.

Lead and participate in process improvement teams throughout entire organization including PMI, Field Operations Management Mentorship, OSP Construction standards, Inside Wire Standards, Implementation Standards, Ethernet Out of Market and FTTH. Responsible for NC budget and cost controls. Expense – NC is in the top 10 with the lowest expense cost per employee. Capital - Managed several customer specific projects with capital in excess of $2M while staying within approved budget. Managed annualized $150M capital budget.

Mastery of capacity management, supporting databases, network and implementation planning in support of Metro and Long-Haul network along with FTTH from concept to market deployment.

Responsible for Region capex/opex budget and inventory tracking.

Accepted responsibility in NC Division to maintain all aspects of its network expansions, design, implementation, provisioning/engineering/construction and maintenance functions since 2004. Fiber plant included >4000’ metro route fiber miles, 3000’ Long Haul route fiber miles, 95 Core Critical Facilities and >4750 on net customer/data center buildings.
