Lead Project Manager, Purdue IT (2006 to 2023)

A founding member and project management SME for Purdue’s IT PMO, introducing and aligning operations and efforts that directly impacted 65K+ staff, faculty, and students on the main campus. Managed all aspects of the project management process from initiation to closing, including budgeting and resource allocation. Directly guided daily operations and activities for teams ranging in size from 2 to 20, interacting with countless internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Implemented Purdue's first two-factor authentication system (2FA) for faculty and staff to secure HR and financial data in response to increases in attempted bank fraud.

Led a team of 40+ stakeholders in comprehensive review of 4 vendor solutions for the new university electronic research administration (eRA) system. This million-dollar-plus investment optimized research efforts to improve efficiency and promote innovative discoveries.

Spearheaded implementation of a new university-wide event management system (EMS), involving 3 disparate departments and 30+ impacted resources. Implementation was completed ahead of schedule in response to the COVID-19 shutdown, preventing costly delays.

Instrumental in the design and strategy for the university's disaster recovery and business continuity plan, identifying and engaging 26 departments and colleges to create a clear plan of action, allowing the university to continue to function during emergencies or disastrous incidents.
