My culinary group was one of many schools who participated in a contest to win a grant to pursue an idea that would better the community's diets by encouraging better eating habits. We won a good amount of money that we put towards our project that we called “Jiggy and juicy”. The main idea was to put healthy juice bars and better snacks in the building for students to demonstrate better eating habits.
