• As the Engineering Manager provided a successful turnaround of the engineering and design department to support a fabrication business in order to successfully double in size from 11 MM to over 25MM in sales. Developed many of the lean processes and managed the P&L budgets for the group.
• Controlled the costs on a Construction turnaround for a $23MM dollar Power plant control system upgrade that was undersold. Met all deadlines for startup and recouped 30% of the underfunded project through scope management with the client. Managed the construction management, Design from Houston and Engineering from Massachusetts.
• Took over Construction Management for the $7MM dollar installation of the instrumentation and control systems content for a Gas Plant in Tunisia for British Gas. Managed over 50 construction, engineers and designers during the installation and startup phases of the project. During this time exceeded all construction deadlines for the Instrument and Controls installation for the project. Provided startup and training of operations and maintenance personnel for the facility.
