ACHIEVEMENTS
Responsible for training technicians to perform warranty and repair work on aeration, pump, and fountain equipment from various manufacturers. Required setting up organized shop with specialty equipment, procedures and documentation.
Developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for receipt of units, documentation of problem, verification of problem, creation of repair proposal, repair and return of functioning unit back to customer.
Budgeting & Inventory control through use of metrics and Gemba Kaizen principles for both stocking and servicing customers.
Created and implemented an “Injury Illness Prevention Plan” to meet State and Federal safety regulations and to reduce operational costs due to workers compensation claims. Efforts resulted in the company avoiding potential fines of more than $275,000.00 annually. Identified new markets creating new product combinations to capture increased market share. Producing consistent growth in sales and profitability over multiple years. Motivated internal and external teams; independent sales representatives, warehouse personnel, management, inside sales, and construction crews.
Established new customer relations policies and procedures to retain and increase customer orders. Efforts included researching customer needs to identify new product introduction possibilities and existing product requirements resulting in increasing sales of more than $1,750,000.00 annually. Achieved success through multiple companies including Mac’s Munitions as the owner and FFL holder. Experienced in organizing, tracking and producing successful results for territory management. Reduced freight costs through creating “Partnerships” with carriers to improve freight handling thus reducing loss and damages and increasing productivity resulting in saving more than $750,000.00 over a six-year period.
