Assumes the duties of the Unit Operator (UO) in the absence of Unit Operator and also during the times that the UO is performing special duties by The Terminal Supervisor

Daily duties as UO include but are not limited to the following

Maintained cleanliness of work area and equipment in accordance with safety regulations.

I contact the Tank Field Control Board Operator to check the availability of products used at The Truck Terminal

At the beginning of every shift, the gravities of products used must be updated into The DTN Guardian 3 software application

This must be done to have an accurate amounts of fuel loaded into the fuel tankards

The UO is also the Marketing Terminal Software Administrator for the DTN Guardian 3 and Ignition Applications used at the truck rack

The UO also keeps track of the Volumetric Additive Reconciliation VAR compliance report of additives used at the truck rack

UO conducts daily audits of Bill of Lading to make sure they meet DOT proper shipping papers regulations

Documented daily production results accurately and completely.

As the UO, I notify the Terminal Supervisor of issues that may arise at the Marketing Terminal

I work closely with the Marketing Terminal Operator of the work plan of the day

End of day duties includes: updates to the IntelaTrac Data Management Center and a turnover report of daily activities to the off sites and refinery supervisors

End of month duties includes the Closing of the VARs and sending the month end reports to the Representatives of Chevron, Exxon, Shell and Andeavor

Customer Service Representative for the Marketing Terminal making the necessary adjustment needed on Drivers Bill of Lading

Also will perform Credit Rebills for customers as needed

As needed, also conducts New Driver Safety Orientation

Training new drivers to the Marketing Terminal, loading procedures, and the use of the safety equipment used at the truck rack

Aides in the training and certification of new operators at the Marketing Terminal

I also take care of special maintenance and improvements around the Marketing Terminal

As a Marketing Terminal operator I maintain proper product inventories; make sound and logical judgments regarding process operations

I closely inspect equipment for safety problems leaks, wear and tear

I review the daily computer log and report any inaccuracies in the process

I gauge and record daily tank inventory

I respond to and initiate proper correction to process needs, and coordinate ongoing maintenance and housekeeping of plant

Gauges are read at proper intervals to determine filling of tanks and the process of keeping inventory control for truck rack

I maintain correct levels of all process systems and equipment and record all operation data on daily worksheets and transfer that information into their proper apps
