Licensed Telecommunicator, Police dispatcher November 2024-Pres TCOLE/TLETS/NCIC licensed dispatcher for 8 hospital medical system in North Texas Answer all incoming emergent and non-emergent requests for help from the police department. Prioritize calls in order of emergence, and dispatch correct officers to the scene. Monitor and dispatch officers to disturbances and emergent codes in the facilities, monitor all HUGS alarms for the infant abduction system in each hospital, issue report numbers when reports are needed and document all high priority calls on a shift pass-along sheet. Check in and out all officers for duty for all 8 campuses and enter all foot patrols into the Omnigo CAD. Quickly enter all calls for service into the CAD system correctly, determining the correct call type. Run property, people, guns, and vehicles through the National Law Enforcement Tracking System (TLETS) when applicable. Enter pertinent data into TLETS when needed. Monitor Flock system; a camera system that monitors all license plates entering any Methodist campus and reports stolen vehicles, plates, and dangerous felons, Dispatch appropriate officers when applicable. ● Respond to all incoming ambulance reports via phone and radio for the ER and relay information to Charge Nurse to assign appropriate bed placement. Enter all medical information into Epic and Resolver.

● Conference all incoming Medical Command calls between EMS in field and receiving ER physicians regarding more serious EMS calls.

● Effectively communicate with LGH physicians and nurses, physicians and medical personnel in outlying hospitals, all EMTs and Paramedics, Helicopter dispatchers and pilots, Constables, County emergency dispatchers to achieve our common goals of patient care and transport.

● Along with nurses and Case Managers, arrange transport for all discharged patients traveling via stretcher and wheelchair to their various destinations. Determine the need for BLS vs ALS transports, and wheelchair guidelines for safe wheelchair transports. Assure all necessary paperwork regarding transports is complete and faxed to transport companies.

● Monitor and respond to all alarm systems/panic buttons for the hospital itself and all hospital-owned properties, including a separate health campus and various physician offices based all around Lancaster County.

● Utilize phone system with 20 incoming lines.
