Professional Summary

I have recently achieved a lifelong goal of working as a professional engineer at Axalta Coating Systems. I enjoy the challenge of continuously improving the systems and functions of the facility while bringing it into the new age of the future. I have always loved designing, tinkering, building, and working with my hands. I’ve known for my entire life that I wanted to make a career out of engineering. My love of cars and engines has continued to push me down the engineering path. I have grown my communication and soft skills as a bartender while paying for my own education. I believe that my years in hospitality have given me an edge in leadership and working with teams as I develop my career in engineering. After just more than a year time, I was promoted to production supervisor over three areas while maintaining the status of technical lead in the area for continuous improvement and capital projects.
