Hired as a neurobiologist to work on traumatic brain injury and neurodegenerative disorders.

•Performed RT-PCR and RT-q-PCR (real-time PCR) from the selected brain regions including cerebellum, hippocampus, and optic nerve.

•Responsible for using GSH analog (a drug design to potentially mitigate oxidative stress) to access the protective or therapeutic effect on the brain post -TBI.

•Managed the data analysis of samples obtained from the brain regions using nanodrop/uv-spectroscopy.

•Calculated the CT values after samples were triplicate to increase the accuracy and statistical validity.

•Performed the experiment with genes including, GAPDH, GFAP, IBA1 and TREM2 to serve as reference gene, encoding astrocytes, ionizing calcium binding, and triggering receptors expressed on myeloid cells.

•Assisted the professors and other mentors in laboratory data analysis.

How TiO2 Enhances Aggregation in Calcium Phosphate and Urate Mixed Crystals Formation.

I assessed the CaP(Calcium Phosphate Crystals) formation and dissolution dynamics in physiological conditions.

I performed time-lapsed crystal dissolution and formation experiments under brightfield microscope.

I performed quantification using free-hand tool of image j for ARpH4.3(Red) and methylene blue (Blue)

HK2 (Human Kidney Cells) were performed in Fura-2 traces with calcium phosphate (Cap),+uric acid(UA), +TiO2, and +TiO2+CaP

These results suggest that TiO2 has both intra- and extra-cellular effect on PT(HK-2) cells, leading to cellular injury and inducing the CaP+UA mixed stone formation by preventing crystal dissolution.
