Currently a master diesel mechanic my daily duties are to understand customer concern and troubleshoot problems, read diagrams, fix problems on vehicles and perform a safety test to ensure the vehicle is repaired correctly as well as help fellow technicians with joint work projects, train new hires. Remove cab from chassis, tear down engine, troubleshoot electrical wire harness pin point problems, moving parts and rebuild and repair, Diagnose a.c concern, diagnose def system understand vehicle aftermath system sensor and components. Perform daily maintenance on transmission, PTO, perform service on rear differential and install new rear differentials. Throughout my time being a master diesel mechanic I have carried out every job safely with proper PPE, troubled shooted problems that arose and documented all work that was performed on vehicles and brought them to safe working conditions, DOT compliance as well as to the clients satisfaction.
