Duties:
• Customer Service & Support
- Creating new customer accounts & maintain customer records.
- Enquiring for credit insurance for new customers.
- Preparation documentation for the commercial team.
- Effectively manage the client’s expectations, by assisting with product availability, pricing, order status & shipping information.
- Classifying products into the tariff codes.
- Knowledge of INCO-Terms
- Accountable for on time billings in line with the client’s agreed proforma invoices.
- Following up on customer payments & sending account statement
- Accountable for the resolution of all customer queries.
• Transport & Shipping Coordination
- Coordinate the entire logistics process for all import & export consignments. International air, ocean, road & domestic freight.
- Experience with freight forwarding & customs clearance processes.
- Negotiating freight rates with freight forwarders & transporters
• Supplier & Vendor Coordination
- Ensure all suppliers & vendors complies with the company’s due diligence program.
- Requesting quotes & monitoring cost expenditures.
- Placing of orders for all raw materials from local & international suppliers and ensuring timely delivery.
- Familiarity of inventory & stock control.
- Accountable for calculating inbound landed costings.
• Other duties
- Provide full support to the sales, production, quality, R&D and finance teams.
- Follow operational systems and procedures as per the company’s global policies, KPI’s and performance standards.
