This project is the improvement of Riyadh Ring Road (East) Interchange no. 16 crossing with Omar IbnKhattab Road. Mainline double carriage way with 1 km. underpass & 1 Km. overpass having service roads at both sides, three (3) interchanges having three (3) bridges and widening of existing bridge at interchange no. 15, precast girders 1.20m depth. The project consists of 12.6 km. double carriage way with 4 km. underpass & service roads at both sides, having two (2) interchanges which includes post tensioned bridges, abutments with pile foundation, culverts, drainage system, lifting station, landscaping & irrigation system, pumping stations, electrical and associated works, road signs, marking & traffic signals etc. The project was elaborated to 6 km. connecting roads, ramps, access roads, intersections etc. The project was published in Arab news daily on 01 September 2000 edition. LINKING MAKKAH ROAD with RIYADH – TAIF EXPRESSWAY

(Section 6) The project consists of one (1) interchange which includes Bridge, Underpass, Drainage Pumping Stations & associated works. The project was elaborated to service road developments, ramps, intersections etc. Bridge include (3) numbers of Pre-stressed Box-Girders type with span 47 m & 10 m wide each, besides 2 U-turn bridges span 47m.
