Personal Statement: After reviewing the qualifications for the Technician II: Level III position, I believe that I have proven my ability to handle the position, through skill, accomplishments and interaction with fellow employees, customers, Team Leads and management. The following is a comparison between the Technician II position requirements and my career skills and accomplishments with Direct Line during my tenure with the company.

Technician II: Level III qualifications:

Able to troubleshoot both copper and fiber cable.

Able to test both copper and fiber cable.

Accept responsibility of outcome of work performed.

Knowledge and use of basic telecom hand tools must understand customer service.

Clear understanding of job safety requirements.

Able to read and understand job floor plan.

Familiar on wiring schemes and wiring testing.

Able to pull all types on low voltage cables.

Possess skill to layout mdf and idf closets, able to dress all types of cable and perform all types of terminations.

Proficient with all on site test gear; JDSU LS & PM, Fluke, EXFO, OTDR
