MSC Direct, founded more than 100 years ago, is the Amazon for manufacturing companies. The upper management of this B2B organization made a decision several years ago to adopt SAP solution for its day to day operations. I led a development team to integrate SAP into a couple of existing systems (until the project was abruptly canceled), later led a group of developers in creating a docs management application using Google Cloud and PlanetPress to replace a legacy application. In both cases, the solution involved GCP, PostgreSQL, Python, Java and Spring Boot for API and Messaging.

As one of the leading player in the financial sector, ICE is a holding firm that has the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) among its companies. At ICE Data Services I have had the great opportunity to architect and lead the development of multiple initiatives including migration of multiple applications that was previously running on an IBM mainframe to Linux and Java. Had the privilege to work as the architect of the migration solution from IBM mainframe to Java and Linux, and as the main developer. Agfa Digital Medical Division

Agfa is a healthcare organization that was in the middle of implementing multiple digital initiatives. I worked with a team bringing to life a Radiology module that would integrate into a larger multi-tier application.

The Radiology module was developed using Angular for the front-end, Java, Eclipse IDE, Maven, Oracle, etc. My contribution to the project was back-end development, writing new code, and improving automated testing on existing code. Also provided support to sales personnel as the module was being offered as an add-on to major hospitals in the USA.

Charles River Development (Burlington, MA)

CRD is a major financial software provider to investment institutions. I worked at CRD as a back-end Java developer and had a chance to make important contributions to the distributed processing capabilities of the Compliance module. Very comfortable with Junit, SQL Server, Oracle, Eclipse, Perforce, etc. Familiar with the implementation of the Command design pattern in a multi Middle-Tier architecture.

Part of a team that implemented and delivered a set of interfaces written in TIBCO and Java for a large Human Capital Management application (part of the solution was in Java with Hibernate)

I was the lead developer on a team who wrote an Eclipse based IDE to work with Motorola's implementation of the OCAP spec.

The work involved designing the GUI for the Eclipse plug-ins, writing specification documents, writing the JAVA implementation for a number of the Eclipse plug-ins, including writing the implementation of a communication protocol between the set- top-box and the client-PC, which requires multi-threading and TCP-IP (also known as sockets programming).

The work here was to re-engineer a few of MIB's legacy applications migrating them to a better, up-to-date technology stack. My contribution was Java design and development, database design, writing stored procedures; writing, testing and delivering EJB code, etc.

At the time, MIB had an IBM mainframe with software that would allow us to write Java Stored Procedures that was invoked either from customer-facing server modules or from client PC.
