client Equitable Holdings in “IR Multi-company DVR Team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Working in a team of 4, engaged to provide continuous enhancement for the existing codes and developing new code based on

customer’s requirement.

Performing regression testing, sanity checks, code review for the code built in COBOL, SQL, and JCL.

Involved in debugging and resolution of technical issues or abends during UAT testing phase.

Handling Performance tuning for COBOL, JCL, DB2 Queries, Sort Utilities and achieved cost savings.

Unit Testing of modules with required test cases.

Documenting all the impacted components to send it for the review. Daily standup meetings to raise any impediment or daily progress.

DVR is the Daily value Repository. It is a DB2 database, which is a snapshot of post admin systems (Vantage-1 and WMA) database. This database is used to provide the clients (policy holders, agents, brokers etc..) with information may be provided in the form of statements, confirmations to various downstream systems like EIB, OAA etc.
