●Provide database support for the IRIS and E-FOIA Systems. Ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of databases, establishing the needs of users and monitoring user access and security.
●Support the entire server, OS up to the database. Ensure databases are encrypted using in accordance with DOD polices and perform analysis and remediation of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
●Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) quarterly on both operating systems and databases. Write Security Plans to document all server and database configurations in accordance with STIG regulations.

● Monitoring performance and managing parameters to provide fast query responses to 'front end' users.
●Communicate monthly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security; commissioning and installing new applications; and securing the databases in accordance with INSCOM, DOD, DA, DIA, NSA policies and regulations.
●Manage security permissions, perform basic troubleshooting using SCCM status messages and log files, test collections before deployment, and document the process using current regulations, best practices, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
