Mr. Daniel Plaisimond earned a B.S. in Computer Science in 2013 and his M.S. in Computer Science in 2015 from Norfolk State University. During his time as a graduate student, he worked as a teaching assistant for an advanced C++ programming Course. His areas of research include cybersecurity, cloud computing, and software development. After earning his M.S. in Computer Science, he was hired and worked for Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division as software engineer using C++ 11 or higher, Git, Linux environment and GNU make to develop various front-end and back-end applications and also worked for Orbis,Inc as Lead software engineer responsible for developing, updating, writing SRS and test plan, and maintaining the life cycle of RADIAC equipment software.
Mr. Plaisimond is currently working for Huntington Ingalls Industries Company as Lead Software engineer responsible for developing robotics and airplanes simulation software, creating, and developing docker containers for various projects simulation as well as developing training tools for the team. He has extensive experience in advanced C++ programming, JAVA and Python Programming Languages, Android App development, Flask framework, Tkinter, Qt Designer. Also, proficient in network programming.
