Project Oversight & Site Management:

• Daily oversight of site activities for multiple projects, ensuring smooth progress and adherence to budgets and timelines.

• Monitoring construction progress, material procurement, and ensuring resources adequacy for each phase of the project.

• Ensuring all required documentation (drawings, permits, etc.) availability and adherence on-site.

• Coordinating site teams, including Leading Hands, Supervisors, Foremen, and subcontractors, to ensure effective collaboration.

• Leading monthly site team meetings to track progress and safety management performance.

• Ensuring quality inspections are conducted regularly and any defects addressed promptly.

Bulk Earthworks, Bulk Civil Works and Building Works (50Million USD)

• Supervision of a diverse range of building projects.

• Supervision of +/- 15000 3 of structural concrete and =/-200 tonnes of steel reinforcement including successful bulk concrete pours maximum of 1150 3 within planned timelines.

• Supervision of excavation, backfilling and compaction of +/-2000000 3 of earthworks.

• Successful delivery of the Karo surfaced intersection.

• Oversaw all on-site quality control that included compaction density tests, concrete slump tests, cube preparations and storage and compressive strength tests.

• Onsite daily inspections including setting out, formwork placement, rebar installation and concrete pouring.

• Day to day monitoring and inspection of bulk earthworks, road surfacing works, steel fixing, cast in items placement and securing, formwork approval, concrete casting and related survey information.

• Onsite troubleshooting of potential delays and providing solutions.

• Coordinating various meetings i.e., project progress tracking, planning and HSE leading and lagging indicators with the various indicators.

• Ensuring all works adhere to specified local and/or international standards.

• Preparation, design, monitoring and filing of all quality control and assurance documentation in the data packs i.e., QCPs, ITPS, Checklists and Test results resulting in improved quality, up to date data packs, maintaining backup online quality control portal and general project efficiency.

• Review of Bill of quantities and drawing management for bulk reinforced concrete and bulk earthworks.

• Interpretation of technical drawings and project specifications.

• Monitoring of day-to-day health, safety and environmental compliance with mine safety and procedural standards resulting in over 1.5million LTI free hours.
