Recently, I finished a Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, and have practiced modern web development. I improve business operations with automation. This automation can be a simple spreadsheet, commercial software, or custom software. As business processes are automated, training and job aids are provided to help users adjust their way of working.
I developed an integration to One-Roster, a standard API for integrations between school systems, using Node and PostgreSQL. I continue provide hardware/software technical support for both Windows and Mac customers.
I designed and installed a live streaming setup for a local church. The solution includes cameras, software, hardware, step-by-step instructions, and training. I assembled a specialized hardware server for live streaming. I installed network and video cables, upgraded their network, and integrated their existing sound system. I selected software tools for editing and managing videos after streaming, and I developed an updated website to manage videos and market the church. I also build a green screen studio to help the youth safely make videos and attend virtual vacation bible school.

2000-2015
I trained on software processes, with a focus on project management, business analysis, requirements management and software architecture. I developed many custom, tight integrations between IBM Rational software process support tools. As an IBM certified instructor, I continued to train adults on the IBM Rational product line, Rational Unified Process, Project Management, Requirements Management, OOAD and more.
I developed 10-week Object Oriented Development bootcamp along with specialized custom courses in Requirements Management and Rational Unified Process. I integrated the entire Rational product line to support the Rational Unified Process at several clients, and developed courses to support the integrations. I provided process consulting in Software Architecture, Project Management, Business Analysis and the Rational Unified Process.

After graduating from the US Air Force Academy, I started my career at the Pentagon. I was the Chief Software Architect for the PPBS Modernization. We established a three-tier client-server implementation to support the Air Force worldwide. My responsibilities included Objected-Oriented Analysis, Design and Development, software architecture and software process improvement along with government procurement. I was also the system administrator for our network of Sun Solaris Unix machines. I finished at the Pentagon as an Air Force Captain.
As a Software Engineering Specialist at Rational Software Corporation, I supported large scale developers in Ada83, Ada95, Java, C++ and C. I also did a significant amount of training on OOAD and the ClearCase configuration environment.
I became a software architect at Orbital Sciences corporation where we develop terrain following and GPS systems for the French Mirage and F-16 Aircraft. I established an embedded systems development environment.
