The property that OMNIPLEX is under contract to provide Physical Security is a 45 Story high rise and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) occupies 26 floors of the 45.
An efficient and effective staff of 8 that I Supervise to maintain Physical Security for 789 employees.
Monitor internal and external visitors to the FDIC, by sign-in and sign-out logs kept at the Security Console.
Internal electronic/wireless Security System used to secure the FDIC floors is the Enterprise CCure 9000; equipped with 163 cameras and NVRs that are monitored 24 hours.
All the Officers, as well as me, have been certified to enroll and activate GSA badges for the FDIC nationwide.
Maintain daily log of onsite weapons, ammunition, magazines, batons, OC spray and flashlights on.
Maintain and administer timesheets and certifications on all Officers for DC Headquarters on weekly, monthly and quarterly bases.
Schedule training to maintain certifications on all Officers on staff as required by State law and contract between OMNIPLEX and FDIC.
Prepare and maintain Incident reports (medical and/or issues) on Employees or between Employees to submit to DC Headquarters.
Overview of all incoming USPS mail, parcel mail and deliveries by x-ray and AirClean system to check for powder substance before disturbing the mail to FDIC employees.
FDIC convert to GSA PIV badges per directive of President George W. Bush; that all Federal Agencies would one day be identical to work together in credentialing and gaining access if proper background checks were performed.
FDIC performs Fingerprinting on Crossmatch for our employees and contractors that are transmitted directly to the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
