Sewing room team leader /supervisor of 2 staff working in a small sewing room making upholstery for horse boxes and motor homes. My duties included pattern making for new designs, delegating work load, ensuring staff were ok, sewing, tutoring, liaising with purchasing dept for fabrics and equipment needed for task. I have used a variety of sewing machines, long arm flatbed, overlocker, sewing a variety of fabrics including vinyl, leather, canvas, using several different cutting tools i.e., Eastman cutter, handheld rotary cutter,.. 2014-2018 Powertherm contract services.
