The Westerwelle Young Founders Programme is a 9 month programme comprising the top 20 selected best Start-Up ideas in East Africa. I was representing The Nature Impact Rwanda and the only representative from SADC region. My particular focus was on including, educating and training organisations to incorporate environmental and natural resources aspects into their core-businesses.
Accomplishments
• Identified and developed the 3-month, 6-month and annual plan for The Nature Impact Rwanda
• Developed a sector-wide database of organisations with an interest and influence in Natural Resources and ESG (Environmental Social Corporate Governance)
• Conducted ground tracking and marketing techniques for introducing our Artificial Intelligence system for the Rwanda market.
• Introduced the initial 100 day free-trial period as a market penetration model.
• Establishment of key partnerships in Rwanda, Burundi and Zimbabwe
• Health & Social Expert Rwanda national Mercury Inventory Impact Assessment Period: January-November 2022
• Conducting data collection from the various mercury identified sources such as government departments, private organizations and non-governmental organizations.
• Drafting and designing the Legal and Institutional Capacity framework for Rwanda for the Mercury Management.
• Undertaking the Mercury Training with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR)
• Preparing and scheduling strategic key meetings and administrative engagements with key government institutions and related agencies.
• Introductions and conceptualizing of mercury and hazardous chemicals related matters to the various stakeholders concerned.
