5 years as a pipefitter and boilermaker. Also completed a supervisor training course from Texas A&M in April 1995 and one from HB Zachry in 2006.
Work History:
Worked at Shultz Mobile Home Plant as a lead man in the cabinet and electrical Department from 1990 -1992 And member of {Swat team} Safety Walk Audit Team. This was just to ensure safety compliance and accident prevention and health of coworkers.
Zachry Construction;
1993-1995. I worked as an Ironworker in Carlos TX. Building a railroad car dumper at a coal burner Power Plant. ( TMPA Power Agency).
1995 -1996 worked a shutdown for Zachry an Ironworker/rigger on the boiler as a pipe bull rigger. And pipe fitter and boilermaker.
1996-2003: I worked several outages as a pipefitter, power plant mechanic on pulverizers, and rebuilding high pressure valves.
2003-2006: I worked for Zachry in Jewett TX, At the Lake Limestone Power Plant as an ironworker for one year and as a Supervisor for one year in the fuel handling Department over the craft hands. Duties: responsible for the safety of craft employees (welders, structural, pipe fitters,riggers and Ironworkers). Repaired and replaced all wear plates on all bins, chutes and conveyors. We also replaced and fabricated all fuel,water and air pipe lines. And a member of a safety audit team as well. 2006-2007: I worked for Fluor Daniels as a Supervisor over the craft employees in Jewett TX at Lake Limestone Power Plant.
Duties: Supervisor over craft employees. Responsible for the safety of all employees, maintenance of two 935 megawatt units. Repaired and maintained the boilers. And surrounding building water treatment, and cooling towers.
1995-2003: Also owner of G&L Metal . Operated a steel fabrication and remodeling business. We fabricated and installed Steel buildings. We also remodeled homes and built fences of all types. Formed and poured our own concrete slabs for our customers.
2007-2008: Worked for Performance as a Supervisor over craft employees in Jewett, Texas at Lake Limestone Power Plant
Duties: Responsible for the safety of all employees and maintenance of both boilers and cooling towers,and water treatment and all piping systems and conveyors. 2009-2014: Worked for KBR, Signal International both in Orange, TX. And National Oil Varco,as a structural welder. Also cut, and fabrication of Beams,angle, flat bar, and some sheet metal. 2014-2015: Worked for CB&I in Beaumont, Texas as a pipefitter and structural layout man in their detail shop. 2015-2017: I worked for Bechtel as a pipefitter, and bull rigger and boilermaker. Also a member of a safety audit team.
2018-2019: Worked for Performance as a pipefitter and Bull rigger. That is where I got my bull rigger certification and boilermaker.
Worked for Westcon Bilfinger : June 7, 2019 -8-20-2019 as A lead man over all bolting and torquing of all flanges and valves . and responsible for setting pipe in racks and bull rigging into rack according to ISO specs. Worked for Primoris in Geismer . LA. as a pipefitter. From 8-26 thru. 10-20-2019 Duties : worked on Hydro and pneumatic testing on all pipe. Worked for Bechtel -12-16-2019 to-7-31-2020 as an Iron worker. Duties : worked on a detail crew
Worked for Primoris in New Mexico from 08-2-2020 to11-10-2020 as a pipefitter Duties: Fabricating pipe,installing valves,torquing flanges,bolts and hydrotesting. Worked for Aptim in Sulphur Louisanna as an Ironworker from 12/06/21 until 07/16/21 Went to CR England in Utah to Driver school to get CDL Got CDL on 08/11 2021 Drove For Melton Truck Lines for 5 months and System Transport. Now currently employed With Paul transportation.
All work as a driver is flatbed experience.
