Duties included: Troubleshoot; perform maintenance and full level repair on all communications, computer, and test equipment in support of a large telecommunications center, hub site and three DMZ remote facilities. Repaired and maintained three troubled communication sites to an all-time high efficiency rating of 99.8%. I was selected for direct technical communications support for a military intelligence unit based at the DMZ in South Korea.
I received a unit citation for being part of the best large telecommunications center on the east coast of the United States.
I aided in the installation of the first computer network at Fort Detrick, MD.
Maintained and held TS-SCI Clearance while in the US Army and was honorably discharged.
