Verizon – T-Mobile

Design build project for the Verizon and T-Mobile Space Constrained Emergency Generators. Per state law all telecommunication cell sites required backup or emergency generators for use by emergency responders in case of natural disaster or power failure. Work consisted of site walking the locations and determining the best generator location in severely constrained areas. Getting permitted plans from authorities have jurisdiction ie., zoning, Building and safety, Fire departments, Office of State Architect etc.

Design build project for the new Disneyland Resort to be located in Shanghai, China. Working in cooperation with Walt Disney Imagineering in Burbank, California. Responsibilities include coordination of design with the WDI and LDI interiors, structural, area development, show set, props, electrical and mechanical design teams. Extensive and varied knowledge of Fantasyland, Adventure Island, Castle and Entry gardens. Understanding and working knowledge of WDI standards and practices in design, detailing, interiors, AutoCAD and Revit. Familiarity of both international and US resorts in Hawaii, California, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Paris.

Responsibilities included coordination of structural, civil and set designer requirements. Buildings consisted of cement slab, red iron structure and light gauge steel framework to point of completion where Disney Art / construction departments applied finish surfaces including stone, slate, precast concrete panels and foam.
