MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Since August of 2023, I have been teaching at BayFarm Montessori Academy.

From August of 2016 to June 0f 2023, I taught Spanish at Archbishop Williams High School. From September 2021 to June 2022, I also taught Italian to eleventh and twelfth graders.

I established the Latin program for seventh graders at Archbishop Williams High School in September of 2019 and taught the language until June of 2021.

Since January of 2016, I have taught Spanish and Fundamentals of Music at Quincy College.

I taught Spanish at Elizabeth Seton Academy to high school girls (9-12) from September of 2014-June 2016.

I taught Latin to seventh graders and Spanish to eighth graders at Boston College High School from November 2013 to February 2014.

I have been a Spanish and Italian tutor for Wyzant tutoring since October 2011.

I taught Italian as an Adjunct Professor at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA, as well as offering tutorials in Spanish, Italian and English.

I taught Italian at Wheaton College in Norton, MA, in the Department of Hispanic and Italian Studies.

I was Senior Chaplain at Harvard University Catholic Chaplaincy (fall of 2007-spring of 2009).

I was involved in the academic and human formation of students studying for the Roman Catholic priesthood at St. John’s Seminary for seven years (fall of 1997-spring of 2004). My specialization is in sacramental theology. I also taught foreign languages (Spanish and Italian) during that time.

I worked as the Acting Dean of the Seminary College (academic year 2003-2004) and accepted the position of Registrar for three years (1998-2001).

I am a member of the North American Academy of Liturgy (January 2005).

MUSIC EDUCATION

As of May 2016, I received a Professional Certificate in Piano Performance at the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, MA, where I studied piano with Sergey Schepkin. I continue to study with Maestro Schepkin to this day. I also participated in the Piano Interpretation and Performance Seminar with Ya-fei Chuang at New England Conservatory of Music from 2014-2022. I continued with the Performance Seminar at the Belmont Piano Academy from 2022-2024.

For thirty years, I studied with Maestro Carlo Dominici in Rome, Italy, former teacher at Il Conservatorio Statale di Musica Alfredo Casella, Aquila, Italy.

I studied with Mrs. Jean Alderman of Wellesley College, Wellesley, MA in 1990.

While attending St. John’s, I studied with the late Dr. Olga Stone of Boston College for two years.

I studied music at the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, MA in the Preparatory Division and studied piano performance with the late Dr. Edwin Hymovitz from 1975-1979.
