My role represented the face of the AOPA Air Safety Institute (ASI) to our internal clients (other departments), members and safety organizations. In that capacity, I researched, interpreted, wrote, and edited a high volume of general aviation safety content in a deadline-driven environment.

I coordinated the distribution of the organization’s data and analytics, safety videos, and other safety content via press releases and sneak peeks to donor members. I also wrote copy for landing pages, newsletters and social media platforms. As the Managing Editor of a quarterly newsletter, I served a critical role by planning its production calendar and annual message, guiding a team of writers, internal and external editors, and proofreaders, and production creators to meet deadlines and exceed quality standards.
