Hobbies
I enjoy spending quality time with my three daughters and three grandchildren. I enjoy fishing, playing golf and I am an avid University of Florida fan.
About me
I grew up in a military family. I was the youngest of 3 children. My aunt is a retired registered nurse and I also
have a cousin who is a
pediatrician living in the Philipines. I have always inspired to work in the health care field when I graduated from college. I joined the
United States Air Force and was active duty for four years and I am a disabled retired veteran. As a nurse, I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of different environments such as med surge, hospice, corrections. In becoming a nurse practitioner, I
expect to learn a new way of thinking, not just acquire knowledge. No two patients are identical, thus I recognize that they may display a variety of health issues that require different treatment methods. I aim to learn how to work with doctors, nurses, fellow nurse practitioners, and other health care workers to ensure that the patient receives the best care and has the utmost comfort.
