As Director of Disability Operations, I am tasked with ensuring equal access and opportunity for individuals with disabilities. My role involves developing and implementing policies and programs, coordinating services, and advocating for the rights of people with disabilities. I work in various settings, including educational institutions, government agencies, and community organizations. Other duties include but are not limited to:
Administer performance reviews and monitor workflow to ensure all necessary applications and appeals are processed timely and all necessary follow-up actions are taken on each account.
Effectively communicate with claimants, Social Security Administration, Administrative Law Judges, contractors, hospitals and other facilities to recommend adjustments to assignments and/or the disability process.
Develop and draft professional correspondence, briefs, medical summaries and Reconsideration, Hearing and Appeals Council appeals to Disability Determination Service, Social Security Administration and the Office of Hearing Operations in each phase of the claims process from the initial application phase up to District Courts.

Serving as a Grant Analyst/Administrative Assistant, I supported grant-related activities, including researching funding opportunities, analyzing proposals, ensuring compliance, and managing financial aspects of grant projects. I worked with various stakeholders, including grantees, government agencies, and internal departments, to ensure effective grant management. As an Administrative assistant I provided vital support to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the office. I was involved in a wide range of tasks, including managing schedules, handling communications, preparing documents, and maintaining records. I was key in ensuring the office ran effectively and efficiently, often acting as the first point of contact for visitors and callers.

As a Social Security Disability Specialist/Case Manager, I helped individuals with disabilities access services, resources, and opportunities that enabled them to live fulfilling lives. This involved a variety of tasks, including assessing needs, developing support plans, advocating for rights, coordinating with other professionals, and providing counseling and guidance.
Established a Social Security Disability department for a prestigious law firm from the initial phases to generate over $1million in annual revenue with hardly any overhead; solidified and managed over 2,500 client base and a steady flow of new prospective claimants.
Trained all staff on the application process, filed all necessary SSDI/SSI appeals from intake up to the Appeals Council, requested medical records, submitted briefs, medical source statements, Residual Functional Capacity forms and managed over 500 cases independently including worker’s compensation and personal injury claims, while attending hearings before Office of Hearings & Appeals.
