I worked at Yancey House initially as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Not long after being hired it was requested that I train to become a Medication Technician. I completed the requirements and passed the state exam and began a new position as the lead medication technician caring for all residents at Yancey House. I continued to excel until I reached the supervisors position over all staff on second shift. My duties included but were not limited to:
