Encora Senior Director 2013 - 2023

• Led engineering teams on Agile delivery of scientific lifecycle management products for Dassault Systemes Biovia, supplier information management & recovery audit products for PRGX, lending portal for Newfi Lending, besides others. These included multiple releases of web applications, desktop applications and SaaS products.

• Responsible for timely quality product engineering delivery, professional services delivery

(including customization, configuration & integration), working with client stakeholders in product management, engineering management and quality assurance.

• Led engineering teams in Agile Scrum with delivery in two week sprints, with sprint planning, story point estimation, task burndown, short and focused standup meetings, roadblock resolution, end- of-sprint demos, velocity tracking and sprint retrospectives. Worked closely with teams to improve Agile engineering processes, estimation accuracy, engineering documentation and velocity. Work with team to adopt & evolve engineering best practices.

• Worked with internal talent acquisition and HR teams for hiring (including hiring for diversity), onboarding, coaching and feedback, career growth and retention. Worked both with small teams (less than 10 members) and larger teams (100+ across products) at different points in time. Have experience leading engineers as well as engineering managers.

• Worked with onshore team members (collaborative multi-location product development) as well as senior engineering stakeholders (CTOs, VPs of Engineering) in India, in US EST and PST time zones and in Europe.

• Worked with senior engineering leaders to understand product roadmaps, quarterly goals, release objectives and timelines so as to enable engineering teams to work towards these.

• Participated in design and code reviews where needed; owned escalations and critical engineering issues, working with all team members and stakeholders to get to a speedy resolution and take long term corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Also responsible for consolidating all division forecasting, revenue and profitability data on both monthly and annual basis, and publishing to key stakeholders along with summary of variances and trends.
