Oracle DBA and Unix/Linux Administrator. Consulted AAMC in the development of a database change report module. This module was used to maintain database integrity of a web and network based system. This allowed data synchronization of medical applicant data between local and server databases using Visual Basic and Crystal Reports. Database Developer and Team member for the development of a new Purchase Order System Using their current Endura Business system’s Purchasing software, the team developed the software application that allowed the Purchasing Agents to store and track the discounts, rebates, and other purchase incentive programs offered from their vendors. These incentive records can be automatically applied to a Purchase Order where the price adjustments are immediate. This allows B&H to capture all potential savings at order-time and pass these savings directly their customers.

Database Developer and Consulted PCS Health Systems in the design and development of the Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory Control and Accounts Receivables modules of the Endura Enterprise package utilizing Informix development and Endura case tools. Designed and developed a system of reporting for Drug Genealogy to regulate brand and generic drug substitution for prescriptions. Created custom reporting for IC Journal, GL Activity, Cost Stack and Perpetual Inventory. Designed and developed a system of importing warehouse location and inventory information from a multi-tiered inventory control system via FTP to auto-mate receiving and exception handling. Created a closed loop system of reporting data feeds back to the originating systems to ensure data integrity. Created automated data feeds for Purchase Order information to be imported into an SAP system on a daily basis. Designed and developed a system of canceling purchase line items on orders based on creation date and receiving activity. Implemented an algorithm to calculate Requisitions based on Reorder points and quantities. Created a reporting mechanism and email notification for daily un-posted transactions. Designed and developed data imports to load and update Price Catalog and Cost information from various drug vendors.

Database Developer for the client company that provided complete turnkey hardware and software solutions for large-and medium-sized medical practices and is currently operating below peak level of efficiency in its warehousing efforts. The goal of the project is to replace the company’s existing accounting and distribution systems with the INFORMIX-based ENDURA (FourGen) Accounting and Distribution software; this includes General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Order Entry, Inventory Control and Purchasing. Mr. Wallace’s role involved the design and development of a system to enhance the ENDURA (FourGen) Enterprise package to meet unique distribution requirements with INFORMIX development and ENDURA (FourGen) CASE Tools. Using these tools and technologies, Mr. Wallace:

Performed warehousing requirements analysis with the client’s accounting group.

Designed and developed a system of allowing orders to be frozen until completed or to allow certain components to be transferred to another more urgent order to perform workload planning and inventory committing at the order or line item level.

Developed a method of printing bar code labels and defaulting put away locations for inter-warehouse transfers to frozen locations with paper picks and obtaining repair history and warranty information on parts transferred to be refurbished.

Created a system of report and file transfers via fax, e-mail, FTP, and EDI.

Jan 97 – Dec 98 International Cellular Distribution Company Indianapolis, IN

Database Developer to support the overall goals to ensure ENDURA-INFORMIX Engine compliance and international implementation of the ENDURA Software Suite Modules, which was accomplished through legal compliance with appropriate international tax codes and accounting procedures. Moreover, the project called for development of plans for international tax code compliance, financial strategies for software systems transitions, GAP/FIT analyses, and ensuring inter-company/intra-company VAT process compliance. Also included was the full life cycle implementation of the Financial Accounting and Distribution systems. Specifically, Mr. Wallace:

Designed and developed a system of automatic order generation from flat files submitted from purchasers.

Used the INFORMIX and ENDURA (FourGen) CASE Tools to work on the OFS (Order Fulfillment System), a system of interface controls to accommodate various file formats and delimiters by data setup.

Performed the design and implementation to electronically generate orders for pagers and wireless phones submitted from various systems and to return electronic data feeds for phone and pager activation.

Worked on the design of data interchange for order entry, report order stages, inventory, order tracking, and order activation of Phase I and II for MCI and partnership with MCI and US Airways.

Used ENDURA (FourGen) CASE Tools to develop the electronic inbound and outbound order generation data feeds for Bell Atlantic.
