From a candid point of view, my biggest strength is customer service and policy enforcement. I prioritize learning the ins and outs of my position because I believe the more familiar I am with the requirements and structure, the more I can help others and myself. I am understanding but firm, which is helpful when interacting with customers or clients. I ensure that the person I’m speaking to can trust me to handle their concerns and come to a resolution. Lastly, I am a team player. I like to make things easier for my colleagues by taking the initiative and fulfilling tasks that need attention without being asked. While doing this, I make sure I have the ability to contribute to the workplace while not taking away from my daily duties. Experience

April 2022 - January 2023

Barros, Laveen - Cashier, Server

My responsibilities working at Barros included using the register, handling money and receipts, and placing orders both in person and online. Whenever I wasn’t doing that, I’d be cleaning up the kitchen, the dining area, and the bathrooms. I took the initiative to alert workers when it was time to begin closing activities and trained new employees. Anytime a shift would need coverage, I was on it. My time at Barros provided me with excellent customer service and deescalation skills. I learned to work efficiently with others in a high stress environment while managing to stay calm and focused. I was absolutely a team player. January 2023 - September 2023

Amazon, Phoenix - Warehouse Associate

2

I began working at Amazon as an associate where my responsibilities consisted of inspecting returns and restoring them to proper standards for resale, then repackaging items to be delivered to another warehouse. I also learned the basics of warehouse safety and how to handle heavy, sharp, and hot objects in a safe and responsible manner. I have experience with a heat gun and pallet jacks as well. November 2023 - March 2024

Securitas, Goodyear - Security Officer

After completing the proper licensing and training to become a security officer, I was placed at an Amazon warehouse. My duties there consisted of surveillance, handling of an x-ray machine, cross communication between security and other agencies within the warehouse, and foot patrol. I would also receive and resolve complaints from Amazon associates and activate/deactivate badges on a daily basis. I regularly completed patrols of the warehouse, where I was checking bathrooms, break rooms, and observing the safety of the workers on the floor. My team and I made sure all the needs of the client were met. March 2024 - December 2024

Gardaworld, Scottsdale- Security Officer

I transitioned to working with Gardaworld in March of 2024 due to Amazon ending their contract with Securitas. I began working at a condominium complex with a business center attached inside the premises in Scottsdale. My daily duties consisted of hourly foot patrols, camera surveillance, daily activity reports, and site phone and keys management. My daily routine would consist of my team and I meeting at the beginning of the shift to discuss “pass downs” with the previous shift members. Doing this helped us all stay on the same page and strengthened our communication skills with each other. I would then begin patrolling the complex, garage and inside individual buildings. Afterwards, I would return to the office to create a report on my findings or lack of findings. Then, I would monitor camera footage in our office during my downtime. While all of this occurred, I would also carry a mobile site phone on me at all times making it so that residents or business owners would be able to reach me at all times. Whenever I received a call, I would immediately respond to the situation in a timely manner. I often dealt with unhappy residents and worked with the Scottsdale police department when situations escalated past security officer control. My experience here expanded my customer service skills, deescalation tactics, awareness, and understanding of policies.

December 2024 - Present

Gardaworld, Peoria - Security Officer

Unfortunately, due to high criminal activity involving weapons in the area, the previous site ended their contract with Gardaworld to invest in armed guards. I was then placed at a warehouse in Peoria where the client receives and distributes items for Trader Joe’s. The first position I learned at this site was employee entrance. My responsibilities at employee entrance include checking badges upon entry, bags upon exit, signing in/signing out visitors, 3

cross communicating between three different agencies as well as guards at separate posts, and keeping a log of employees that no longer work at the site in case they return. I then learned the truck yard posts - inbound and outbound. Both posts are similar but have different requirements. Inbound receives trucks and signs them in for their appointments. Both inbound and outbound log the trucks’ information and frequently contact the shipping and receiving office to verify and confirm delivery standards and documents. Outbound receives trucks when they are leaving the site and conducts a search of the trailers before logging the vehicle out. At this post, I also verify the validity of the safety seals and ensure all information matches the vehicle before allowing them to exit. Education

August 2022 - Present

South Mountain Community College, South Mountain - Law and Policy I am studying Law and Policy at South Mountain Community college to become a paralegal. My plan is to become a paralegal and gain experience with a law firm firsthand. Then, based on what I’ve learned I will pursue a career as a civil rights attorney. I’ve had experience competing at ASU law school competitions for three years in highschool and I look forward to creating a future for myself in law so that I can help others in need. I’ve completed classes on technological systems, government, and philosophy so far (aside from my prerequisites).
