I am returning to the workforce after a period of time off. -Within this position, I made sure customers were pleased with their experience at the restaurant. This position enhanced my abilities to work in a team atmosphere. It also highlighted my ability work well with customers and build a rapport to ensure that their experience would make them want to return in the future. It highlighted the need for strong social skills, empathy and patience that are needed to work in a setting that deals with customer satisfaction.

I was in charge of a variety of different responsibilities while working at this job. A portion of my time was spent dealing with customers on the phone and face to face. I was in charge of scheduling for vehicles to be brought in for service. Also, also I created itemized bills and received payments for services rendered. This also included things like data entry, filing paperwork, keeping track of what parts or office materials were running low, contacting vendors to order needed materials and running errands such as picking up lunch for other employees.

I have taken the time to learn Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. I am familiar with most other office software and am willing to further learn new programs. My time has also been spent in a salon atmosphere where I have answered phones, scheduled appointments, ordered products, created product displays, planned business events, and handled some social media marketing aspects. In an effort to continue to learn new skills, I have recently completed several online courses in Project Management and received multiple certificates. I am currently finishing up a course on Customer Service etiquette. I am very open to learning new skills and looking forward to taking on a position that I can use my passion to grow with a company.
