Obtained and passed exam and now hold LCDC III exam for Ohio Chemical Dependency Board. TURNING POINT TREATMENT CENTER; 12/2018 – 02/2022 COUNSELOR/24 months CLINICAL SUPERVISOR (3 months).
Inpatient and Detox level of care, including Long-term residential care, which was where position best fit program and career choice, DDAP protocols, Pennsylvania State regulations were followed. Confidentiality, HIPAA laws, progress notes, documentation from assessments to the discharging timeframe, referrals, utilization reviews completed by the therapists for caseloads, facilitator of clinical and psychoeducational group therapy, assisting the all-male clients with achieving 12-step sponsors, attending the meetings of support, transportation at times.
DABVS- DRUG and ALCOHOL BEAVER COUNTY SERVICES; 10/2017 – 08/2019, COUNSELOR: IOP/OP level of care duties, maintained a 35 to 40 client caseload, individual sessions, updating treatment plans, discharge summaries, aftercare, referrals, confidentiality, HIPPA and the beginning of the ASAM Criteria Change Companies integration with chemical dependency services. Scheduled clients and in charge of their attendance and reporting referral sources.
HIGHLAND HALFWAY HOUSE FOR WOMEN: 12/2014 – 05/2015 This was the beginning of experience in the field working at the level of a halfway house for woman by choice or court ordered. Treatment planning, updating, facilitator of groups, individual sessions, progress notes, utilization reviews, confidentiality rules. HIPAA laws, admissions protocol, discharge summarizing, faxing, advocates for these women to find sobriety and possibility of making new residency in the New Castle Pa. area.
