Sr. Information Technology Auditor 1

Primary responsibility is to evaluate the risk and compliance of Assurant's data and protection thereof. This involves the determination of a risk profile of the time and the planning of audits.

Performed multiple RBA (Risk Based Audit) audits as assigned. 20 audits for 2024 and 10 to date for 2025.

Assisted SOX department multiple seasons/years as assigned by SOX Manager. Created audit Leadsheet to cohesively present evidence and report findings.

Assigned to 5 different onboard/implementation audits. Audits were multi-month and multi-shareholder. These included SOX and RBA auditing, Narrative creation and rewriting, documentation, test plan creation, evidence collection and evaluation, issue creation, and ultimately pursuit of correction.

Performed 3rd Party audits on behalf of Major Shareholder 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Reviewed SOC2 reports for SOX (and RBA) reporting and verification.

Coordination of meetings with those selected to be audited to provide them with an understanding of the audit, gather an understanding of the individual controls from the auditees, and collection of evidence.

Coordination with 3rd party vendors to gather information to further evaluate risk to the Auditee and ultimately to Assurant based on the control.

Utilized AuditBoard for the safekeeping and reporting of all audit activity. This includes any issues. Final reports were presented via PowerPoint and then stored within AuditBoard.

Examined elderly cited Issues and pursued resolutions. 95% resolution rate.

Presenter in Assurant 2022’s Training Week of RootCauseAnalysis (RCA) lecture.

Attended Coursera, LinkedIn, and Udemy universities for Auditor and AI training.

CISA training through CyberKraft. Ultimately achieving CISA certification.
