As QA engineer contracted to the Department of Defense, I was hired to upgrade the Quality Management System to comply with ISO 9001:2015 and SAE AS 9100 Rev D. As lead internal auditor and Quality Management Representative, I developed an internal audit plan, managed document control using Vault, revised the Quality Management System Manual, created and revised documents, processed engineering changes and released to Vault. Directed quality inspections and first article testing during the manufacturing of military shelters. Reviewed Statement of Work for acceptance and provided Quality Releases. Reviewed test plans for electrical testing and water tightness testing. Managed customer source inspections. Coordinated the corrective action program.
