Metro Construction Olathe, KS.

I was hired to take over several accounts in the Plasma industry and Emergency Veterinary Clinics. All projects were located out of state, including Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Mexico, Colorado, Iowa, Nebraska, Indiana, and Illinois. Responsibilities included Estimating, writing subcontracts, providing a construction schedule, writing Change orders to owner and subcontractors, site visits during construction and punch walk, approving subcontractor payment applications, obtaining C of O, and all close-out documentation.

I was the first employee of WC Construction, a new startup company, when I was hired. I was initially hired as a Project Manager/Estimator, but with the new company, I was asked to fill any needed role. This included overseeing local and out-of-state projects as general superintendent, as well as general carpentry work. As an estimator and Project Manager, my responsibilities would begin once a project was received for bidding. I was responsible for providing a comprehensive estimate for submission to the owner for review. Once a project was awarded, it would then be my responsibility to get the project completed from start to finish and on schedule. At the time of the COVID shutdown, Flex Build's only work was with Restaurants and Nursing homes, which were completely shut down.

Hired as a traveling General Superintendent to build mobile phone stores in the Midwest. I completed (2) projects and then was brought into the office to start Training as a Project Manager / Estimator.
