South Florida Water Management District – West Palm Beach, Fl Operational Hydraulics Intern May 2024 - August 2024
• Conducted hydrologic and hydraulic data analysis, including cyclic analysis of flow, headwater, and tailwater stages at water control structures.
• Developed a water budget for Lake Okeechobee, identifying key structures and their flow direction (inflow or outflow); performed data analysis to determine storage levels and compared key parameters such as precipitation and evapotranspiration; presented findings to supervisor and team.
• Gathered and interpreted structure information from as-built drawings, water control manuals, and the STRIVE database.
• Updated structure information books using insights from hydrologic databases and operational manuals at the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD).
FarmSpace – Hawthorne, Fl Engineering Intern May 2023 - August 2023
• Used a 55 HP tractor for the excavation of a 1,673 cubic yard organic pond.
• Used a 2 axel, 11 cubic yard, hydraulic dump trailer for hauling and dumping the dirt.
• Hauled and compacted the excavated dirt for the foundation of an upcoming facility.
• Performed calculations to maximize excavating and hauling efficiency.
• Wrote a mock engineering proposal for the project.
• Performed concrete pour calculations.
• Performed the maintenance on all equipment’s used. TechGarage – Boca Raton, FL Team lead on Project HIFI May 2020 – August 2020
• Dug trenches and laid conduit along the infrastructure of a 95-unit community.
• Created/terminated ethernet cables that supplied internet to each apartment.
• Utilized electrical closets as central access point that connected the apartment complexes to the primary signal generator.
• Drilled holes through the apartments to pass the cables through with minimal contact with the residents.
• Provided free gigabit internet to a low-income neighborhood. LEADERSHIP & INVOLVEMENT
InnoGators Mechanical Co-lead April 2022 – December 2024
• Right hand to the Mechanical lead
• Responsible for overlooking the other members of the sub-team and ensuring their progress on projects.
• Responsible for communicating needs and ideas to other sub-teams that are connected to the current project. First Robotics Club (FRC) Mechanical Lead August 2019 - May 2020
• Designed the board/platform that contained all the electrical components of the robot, without impeding the functions of the various mechanical components of the robot
• Helped conceptualize and build the lifting mechanism of the robot that allowed us to focus on one aspect of the competition, maximizing our efficiency.
• Mediated any conflicts that occurred between other team members.
• Assisted another rookie team with solving design and mechanical problems they encountered. PROJECTS
Autodesk Civil 3D December 2023
• Completed a full planimetric and contour map of an assigned parcel of Reitz North Lawn. Design & Manufacturing Laboratory (DML) Robot May 2022 – August 2022
• Collaborated with a team tasked to create a robot that would build a 3-level pyramid within a 5-minute time frame.
• Designed and created technical drawings of parts made for a pushing mechanism.
• Manufactured parts out of 20-gauge Sheetmetal.
• Together with another group, got 1st place in the competition by creating the pyramid in the shortest time. SKILLS & Certificates
• AutoCAD & ArcGis Pro, SolidWorks, Bilingual- Haitian Creole & English
