Work Experience
Administrative Assistant
Rowan Tree Counseling - Chicago, IL
April 2023 to Dec 2024
At Rowan Tree, I worked as administrator handling a range of tasks. I was the face and voice of the office, directing and tracking internal referrals and inquiries, reassessing sliding scale clients, creating a directory of external referrals, and verifying insurance. My job started from the first email from a client and connecting them with a therapist, assisting through the intake process, and continued through billing and scheduling. I handled every client with empathy, assuring that they felt confident in our office to be there for what they needed. Nanny/Caregiver
Chicago, IL
January 2022 to June 2024
As a mother, it comes naturally to care for others. I nannied twins during the week while my son was in school. I had cared for these boys from newborns until they were two. With the twins I handled everything from breakfast to lunch, playtime and naptime, and household chores including general cleaning and laundry. Needless to say, I am an excellent multitasker. As anyone that has been around children may know, there's a lot more that goes into caretaking than words can describe. I loved the daily challenge (and adventure) that this job supplied. I built a great rapport with the boys and their family. Helping the boys grow and learn through reading and play was the highlight of my time with this family.
Bartender
Solemn Oath Brewery - Chicago, IL
March 2021 to Present
As a part of the team at Solemn Oath, I do much more than just pour beers. I helped open our new taproom, and have worked hard to network and build a blossoming social base. I've helped build a vast community of regular customers and friends, created a following at our taproom, and hosted numerous events ranging from fundraisers to parties and more. I've worked very hard to create a safe and friendly work environment for my coworkers and visitors, with a vibe that keeps people coming back! I've also assisted hands-on with the brewing process, from choosing hop varieties and brewing to designing can labels.
Bartender
Hubbard Inn - Chicago, IL
August 2019 to March 2020
I was lucky to enter this job at a time of re-branding and reopening. I helped build an excellent team and had strong relationships with my coworkers. I also gained experience training new-hires, managing detailed inventories, as well as building out functioning work stations and systems throughout the three floors of the restaurant. I built a strong base of regular customers during my time here.
Office Manager/Administrative Specialist
Keating Law Offices - Chicago, IL
April 2015 to October 2018
My responsibilities ranged from community outreach and client care to court filings and medical records. I became proficient in Excel, Word, RingCentral and social platforms. I helped organize and sponsor races and events in the cycling community, such as the Intelligentsia Cup and the opening of the 606 Trail. I worked with clients face-to-face, helping them navigate a difficult and stressful time in their lives. Sales Associate
Chrome Industries - Chicago, IL
January 2013 to August 2015
This job was much more than just customer service. I helped build and create displays, organize events, complete inventories and plenty of community outreach. I made top sales often, using my up-selling skills and excellent customer care.
