Work Experience

Automotive Detailer

CarMax-Murrieta, CA

June 2021 to Present

Starting at CarMax, I was an RA. It would focus on "preps” and “FQC” Where we would detail and clean the cars before going out to the front lot so they can be sold or the vehicles that have been brought from my customer. It needs to be prepped for the customer before going out or whip gate. Moving from an RA to RA1 I have learned how to buff, touch up, wet sand, clay bar, being a Porter, Interior repairs, Exterior repairs, and many other attributes. Doing so has helped me improve work scenarios that I didn't know from my past work experience which had led me to the point of trying to move into an RA2 position which is a team lead for inventory and further educate myself on our CarMax standards to help our team grow and succeed not only for us but our customers. During this process of being an RA2, I transferred from our 6002-inventory building to become an RA3 Detailer and our production facility at the Murrieta location. Furthering my knowledge of CarMax standards and being trained to become the best RA3 which includes chip repairs, headlight restorations, interior IRS, detailing with spray paint on plastics, removing wrap, and use of heat gun razors to help the process. Overall, my responsibilities have drastically changed, but during that time I have learned new and improved needs to help CarMax grow and succeed for our customers.

Warehouse Worker

SRC, Inc.-Murrieta, CA

August 2020 to May 2021

The responsibilities of becoming a warehouse lead are knowing how to communicate with other coworkers to help get things done efficiently while working as a team. Some simple things I needed to take care of were mopping the floors, squeezing floors, paperwork, trash, come closing times while maintaining organizational skills. The more hands-on work was having to stock and stack wooden pallets with different food supplies that the customer had on order while making sure to revise before sending out any mistakes to make sure the customer got what they needed on time efficiently. After stacking the pallets and sending them off on the trucks there would have been several other pallets full of stacked meats, cheese, frozen foods, dry foods, spices, plastic cups, etc that we needed to put into our freezers and fridge for the upcoming days to send out.
