Resume:

AYDAN LUNDY

1-208-***-****

**********@*****.***

My life goal is to seek God’s kingdom first, to serve Jesus Christ. I wish to serve God in my work by exemplifying servitude towards customers, coworkers, and company authority. I aim to make an informative experience for the customers I serve that solves problems with clear communication.

EXPERIENCE

JULY 2021 – OCTOBER 2021

SERVICE ASSISTANT, Izzy’s comfort kitchen

As a Service Assistant, my job entailed greeting and hospitality, bussing and keeping all areas clean. I would receive and assist customers with call-in orders and fulfill all money exchanges for the call orders.

Skills I acquired were efficiency, hospitality, accuracy, teamwork, and improvement with all money transactions.

JULY 2022 – AUGUST 2022

LIFEGUARD AND MERIT BADGE INSTRUCTOR, Pacific Northwest council – Camp Easton

At the Camp Easton Waterfront, I taught Boy Scouts how to complete merit badges such as Kayaking, Snorkeling, Rowing, and Motor Boating. When I was not teaching, I would lifeguard various locations for the swimming and boating area.

Skills I acquired here were patience, efficiency, preparedness, kindness, alertness, teamwork, and endurance. I gained valuable experience in teaching.

JUNE 2023 —AUGUST 2023

HEAD COOK, PACIFIC NORTHWEST COUNCIL – CAMP EASTON

As the Head Cook at Camp Easton I was in charge of the kitchen and dining hall. I had the responsibility of leading the other members of kitchen staff. Our job was to get three meals served a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This was provided for all 250+ campers and staff for six weeks.

This was perhaps one of my most valuable job experiences so far. I entered the job as the assistant under the head cook with no restaurant cooking experience under my belt. A week and a half after that I entered the position of Head Cook as my former boss left the company. In this new position I was taught and assisted by fellow kitchen workers and by camp management. With the 10–12-hour shifts, and a work week of 12:00pm Sunday to 10:00am Saturday, I developed and honed endurance and time management skills. Mealtimes were busy with half of campers being delivered food to their campsites and the other half eating in the dining hall. By the end of the camp my team and I were able to prep, cook, and serve meals in an efficient manner and take into account all dietary restrictions and sensitivities. I also learned a lot about scheduling my coworkers and helping them so they could be as effective as possible with their duties.

MARCH 2024 — PRESENT

SITE SERVICES, BUCK KNIVES

As Site Service personnel I have standard janitorial tasks such as cleaning restrooms, taking out the garbage, and mopping floors. I also clean our Harper machines. These are rooms in which we polish knives. I also monitor our Cetco and Oberlin machines. The Cetco machine takes waste from rock polish machines and separates the rock waste from the water waste; filtering the water to be recycled and putting the rock waste in a disposal bin. I monitor the Cetco to make sure it runs well and is stocked. Our Oberlin machine filters dirty coolant from various machines and sends the clean coolant back to the same machines. I monitor the Oberlin to make sure it is stocked and no errors have occurred.

This position has given me great experience in time management, especially when dealing with interruptions. My job is to take care of the facility so it is common to take time out of my schedule to clean a spill, assist our mechanics, or fix a malfunction with one of the machines I monitor. This role has also been a great learning experience for operating a forklift and acquiring my forklift certification as well as becoming HAZWOPPER certified. This role has been great for honing a greater attention to detail, serving others, and learning new skills.
