For the past twenty-two (22) years, I have been a security/corrections officer with specialized training at the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Center. For the past eight (8) years I have worked for Star Protection Agency, LLC, Bellevue WA. Responsible for various concierge jobs throughout Seattle protecting the property and residents of the clients assigned. The latest was working as the Loading Dock Master at 1007 Stewart Street for CBRE, Midtown site. In comparison, while working at the Reynolds Work Release Facility in Seattle. I supervised, coordinated, and monitored the movements and activities of the residents in living, recreation, dining, and visitation areas; developed, implemented, and directed work details of all residents. Conducted headcounts and acted as a liaison between clients and off-site emergency services. Interviewed persons involved in or witnessed crimes committed on-site as a Program Monitor/Corrections Officer.

At Eagle Guard Security Seattle. I was the supervisor of a crew of six officers at Harbor Island checking the badging of incoming and outgoing cargo carriers and was cited for exhibiting exceptional leadership on 11 September 2001. Working for American Commercial Security Services (ACSS), a company of ABM Seattle, I was a member of a security detail of two security officers and myself, and one Seattle Police Officer to monitor the protest of the World Trade Organization's (WTO) demonstration in downtown Seattle in the summer of 2000. Our team was cited for "Distinguished Service" and received laudatory remarks by both Bank of America's president (where we worked), and the president of ACSS security for a "job well done."

Educational training: served three years in the U.S. Army as a Personnel Specialist, Ft. Ord, CA, 1974-1977. A campus patrol officer, for a year and a half at Olympic College in Bremerton, Washington, studied Introduction to Basic Law Enforcement from 1971-1973 (non-grad, joined the Army). I received specialized training at the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Center, Burien, WA. (WSCJTC), Graduated 07 December 2007. I studied and tested in 2012 for: HIPAA Certified, FEMA Certified. Access Control, Workplace Violence, Public Relations, Hazardous Materials, Ethics and Professionalism, Testifying in Court, Preventing Sexual Harassment, Risk Assessment, MRI Controlled Access, and Radiation Safety for Security Officers (Fifth edition); Advanced Training Manual for Healthcare Security Personnel (Third edition), Supervisor Training for Healthcare Security Personnel (Third edition) and Star Protection Agency Safety Manual. I have worked for several properties in the Seattle Metro area over the years, e.g., Hines, Unico, Martin-Selig, CBRE, Kilroy Realty, and the Seattle Art Institute, and have received favorable reports from clients/managers.
