EXPERIENCE

● Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP)- July-August 2022 Worked remotely and joined zoom calls 5 days a week to learn about the criminal justice system and rehabilitation known as restorative justice. At the end of the program, I worked with my fellow group members to produce an informed presentation on the restorative justice process.

● Artificial Intelligence Workshop (Industry Scholars Program) July-August 2024 Attended classes in the New York City College of Technology to learn about the structures and algorithms of Artificial Intelligence. Moreover, we experimented with text based generators like ChatGPT and websites including AI recognition to enhance our understanding of the strengths and flaws of artificial intelligence.

Volunteering and Extra Cirivulars

● Participating in JV cross country and Varsity track/field, consistently running over 40 miles a week (September 2022-Present)

● Organized and distributed food/clothing in a local church to low-class members of the community and homeless (August 13, 2023)

● Helped elementary school teachers set up and clean their classrooms right before the start of a new school year (August 31-September 4, 2019-2024)

● Contributed to the Chinese New Year Parade/Event of 2024 by setting up and moving tents, chairs, appliances, and costumes via. Key Club (February 10 and 14, 2024)

● Actively participated in a 9/11 program assembly line to package 100+ boxes of canned food to homeless shelters (September 11, 2023)

● 60+ hours of volunteering in the school library to shelve, clean, and organize books
