EXPERIENCE
CURRENTLY:
Currently working with Zambia Electricity Supply Corporation (ZESCO) as Senior Transmission Engineer in Transmission Directorate.
Duties include:
Maintenance of Power Transformers, Transmission Overhead Lines, Substation Battery, high Voltage Circuit Breakers. Also Scheduling and Planning, Preparation of Equipment outages etc.
January 2011- February 2012
Worked with Barrick Lumwana mining company as Services and High Voltage electrician.
Duties include:
Maintenance of Water pumps, Variable Speed Drives, UPS, Transformers, Motors/ Motor soft starters, Overhead line and Building installations etc.
August, 2009 –October, 2009
Worked with Zambia Electricity Supply Corporation (ZESCO, CHOMA) on three months contract in customer care section and was involved in loss reduction team where I was specifically assigned to install and register meters in the computer system.

Worked with Zambia Electricity Supply Corporation (ZESCO) under the operations and maintenance department on attachment as student at Copperbelt University.
Duties included:
Maintenance and fault clearing on the 0.4/11/33KV lines and below.

Worked with Zambia National Service (ZNS) engineering unit in the construction of bridges, feeder roads and dams throughout the time of HIPIC projects, was in-charge of electrical maintenance (Choma, Zambia)
Duties included:
Supervising fellow officers in new installations and Electrical designing and testing.
Planning for new installation and wiring/ trouble shooting of motor circuits in ZNS mobile workshops.
Report generation using Microsoft Word and Excel;
Planning and Designing electrical installation;
Consultancy and Outsourcing services,
Repairing of electrical equipment.

Whilst as a student at choma trades training institute, I worked with choma General Hospital on industrial attachment.
Duties included:
Wiring of hospital compound houses.
Work on electrical faults in the hospital
Maintenance/Repairing of the hospital stand-by diesel generator.
