Qualifications:

I am proficient in the use of the following tools: Sheet metal edge breaking tools such as burr whips, burr knives, mills files and rasps. Sheet metal fastening devices such as clecos and cleco pliers. I am familiar with riveting processes including the use of various sets used to shoot the rivets and the bucking bars needed to form the butt of the rivet. I can use both electric and air type drill motors. I can use sheet metal shears, right and left hand and air shears. I can use dotcos to deburr and or break edges and use them with a cut-off blade, too. I know how to operate a drill press, bench grinders and the like. I know how to use and apply sealant.I have fay seal and basic sealent training thru Spirit Aerosystems. I can identify the typical sizes of rivets and rivet types, such as#30, #40, #10 button, or round head aluminum or stainless steel rivet. I know the difference between a round head and a flush head rivet. I know how to use a counter sink stop. I can read a scale and dial calipers and outside micrometers. I have some very basic blueprint reading skills. I can operate a fork lift, pallet jacks and hand carts. I have CNC milling experience.
